SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs)

In 2000, the status of the UNESCO chair "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" 409 was obtained.The department is headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Natalia Vnukova .   

There is a complex laboratory of interdisciplinary research in which up to 30 attached professionals-experts in integrated areas work simultaneously, including academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, doctors of science and doctors of philosophy from technical and biological areas of research.

OFFICIAL ACTIVITIES

of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" (409) are focused on the implementation of large programs I-V and are carried out within the framework of the UNESCO-initiated World Program of Interuniversity Cooperation and Academic Mobility UNITWIN / UNESCO Chair. It is implemented within the framework of the program activities of UNESCO, the environmental policy of Ukraine and is aimed at the development of innovative environmentally friendly technologies; the development of environmental education for all levels of the population, the formation of environmental culture and basic environmental knowledge. Activity goals: expansion of innovative trends that provide solutions to environmental problems in all spheres of human activity.

of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" (409): 1) organizational, 2) educational, 3) research 4) educational, 5) cultural, 6) informational and 7) project activities; 8) eco-incubators\schools 9) interactive trainings\seminars 10) inter- and sectoral scientific communication and mobility; 11) document circulation, 12) publishing, 13) consulting and analytical activities.

PRIORITY AREAS OF INTERESTS

of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" (409) the interdisciplinary status of the chair ensures effective cooperation with relevant UNESCO sectors, partner institutions of the Organization, domestic and foreign experts in the department's field of competence in the field of expertise, advisory analytics, environmental impact assessment (EIA ) , bioethics and ecological culture, interactive learning practices and innovative educational technologies, study of innovative experience, participation in exhibitions, seminars, presentations; cooperation with scientific institutions regarding the introduction of innovative technologies; use of Internet resources, forecasting demand for innovative products.

PROJECT FIELD OF ACTIVITY

of the UNESCO Chair "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" (409) is aimed at:

a) functioning of the information and advisory center with the aim of meeting the scientific, technological and educational needs of society and the main consumer of educational services - the student of higher education;

b) expert evaluation and selection of technologies, which include the analysis of ecological, sociological, economic, climate-oriented characteristics of innovative projects;

c) improvement of educational programs that ensure an increase in the level of environmental education based on the experience of advanced foreign institutions of higher education;

d) support for the implementation of the principles of gender equality in the involvement of women and girls in the field of science and technology;

e) research on ways to minimize man-made and belligerent influences on natural and anthropogenic landscapes;

e) sustainable functioning of ecological networks,

as well as support for the functioning of the Coordinating Council of the "UNITWIN / UNESCO Chairs" Program in Ukraine, the Inter-University Network of UNESCO Chairs and their international partners of mobility programs for teachers and students of higher education

NETWORK OF ASSOCIATED SCHOOLS OF UNESCO

The Department supports the National Commission for UNESCO in Ukraine and the UNESCO World Organization in an effort to spread the UNESCO Associated Schools Network Building a peaceful and sustainable future through transformative education
