In 1926, he graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Technology. He received the qualification of civil engineer.

In 1932, he completed postgraduate studies at the Kharkiv Institute of Technology.

Since 1935, he has been an associate professor of the "Construction Mechanics" department of the KhII University.

In 1937, he defended his candidate's thesis.

Since 1939, he has been a professor.

In 1938-1941 and 1946-1951, he was the head of the "Construction Mechanics" department.

The main direction of scientific research is dynamic calculations of structures. Author of 15 scientific works.
