ACADEMIC MOBILITY

Academic mobility  - the opportunity for participants in the educational process to study, teach, do internships or conduct scientific activities in another institution of higher education (scientific institution) on the territory of Ukraine or outside its borders (clause 2, part 1, article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education") .

ERASMUS+ is a program of international cooperation of the European Union with other countries of the world in the field of education, youth and sports. 

The program aims to support the educational, professional and personal development of citizens of the EU and beyond in order to contribute to sustainable growth, quality of jobs and social cohesion, to develop innovations and strengthen European identity and active citizenship. 

The program supports educational and academic mobility opportunities in education and for youth, projects and partnerships, development of strategies and cooperation, professional networks and open resources.

Academic mobility projects in the field of higher education:

KA1: Learning Mobility (KA1: Learning Mobility of Individuals)  

The KA1 direction is aimed at:  creating opportunities for individual international mobility of representatives of higher education institutions, in particular:

  • For students of all educational levels in all fields of knowledge, participation in mobility is an opportunity to study or do an internship abroad within the framework of studies under the main educational program at a higher education institution;
  • For employees of educational institutions, mobility promotes the exchange of experience and professional growth.

The main requirement of KA1 projects is RECOGNITION OF MOBILITY RESULTS, as well as respect for the principles of inclusiveness in higher education.

The goals of the KA1 direction of international mobility are:

  • Exchange of knowledge, teaching and research methods, as well as work experience in the European and international environment;
  • Acquisition and development of communicative and language competences, development of critical thinking, skills in finding and analyzing solutions to challenges, improvement of research competences;
  • Development of digital and green competences;
  • Promotion of personal development.
