Training. “Soft skills days”. Soft skills, why they are needed. Who is COSMOPOLITAN? Teamwork, cooperation, communication.

Lecture “Environmental and climate problems”. Study visit to the Getlini Eco, a waste management company in Latvia that implements sustainable development practices.

12.03.24 - 13.03.24. In the mobility training program:

Teamwork. Observation of sustainable practices in different organizations. Visiting sustainable organizations, collecting information for a practical assignment. Preparation of presentations on the results of the observation (group work). Seminar - presentation and discussion of the results.

14.03.24 - 15.03.24 In the mobility training program:

Day 1: In the mobility curriculum: interdisciplinary seminar “Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. Participation together with other ERASMUS applicants.

Day 2. Independent preparation and defense of final presentations - “What I learned about the SDGs and sustainable eco-oriented business”. Acquisition of soft skills in the competencies of public defense of scientific research results. Presentation and defense of results. Ceremonial procedure for obtaining certificates.      

16.03.24 In the curriculum:

 An open-air tour of the Latvian Ethnographic Museum. One of the largest European museums located in Latvia. On a vast territory of 90 hectares, ancient buildings of the past centuries (17th - 20th centuries) are collected - houses, outbuildings, temples, mills and even entire households with many household items typical of that era - there are 118 buildings in total. Get to know the unique landscape location and authentic ecosystems.
