The International Student Research Competition “Restoration of Transport Infrastructure of Ukraine: World Experience” is held at Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University.

The purpose of the Contest is to support gifted youth, reveal their abilities, promote the development of research interest in difficult wartime circumstances, develop proposals for scientific and practical solutions for the restoration of transport infrastructure during the war and post-war reconstruction in order to properly present the scientific achievements of higher education students and young scientists. Authors of scientific papers must register and provide the necessary information in Ukrainian and English. If a paper has 2 authors, one of the authors must be designated as a speaker.
Third-party documents (copies of the authors' publications, patents, etc.) are not considered at the Competition.
Within the framework of Section 5 “Ecology and Green Technologies in Construction”, papers are considered exclusively on the above topics.
Papers prepared on other topics are not considered.
Requirements for participants:
- the competition is open to applicants of higher education institutions who are applicants for higher education of the I, II, III degree at the end of the second stage of the competition;
- works can be evaluated in various nominations, including the level of professional experience of participants, degree of education, etc.
- one paper may have no more than two authors and two supervisors;
- members of the organizing committee and the jury cannot be supervisors of the works submitted to the competition; - participation in the competition is free of charge.
The winners of the second stage of the competition will receive an invitation to participate in the third stage of the competition (the final conference) no later than January 15, 2025.The third stage of the Competition is held in the form of an online conference where the finalists present their work to the Jury, commenting on the presentation and answering questions.
Requirements for presentations:
- The speaker is the author or one of the co-authors of the paper. Supervisors or third parties are not allowed to present the paper.
-Each speaker must present a document proving his or her identity (in particular, a student ID card). - Participants who cannot attend the conference for technical reasons must send the Jury a video of their presentation in advance. Videos that do not have the participant's identification (namely, a student ID or other identification document) will not be considered.
- The length of the report is no more than 15 minutes.
- Presentations should be made in English and should include illustrative material (drawings, diagrams, charts, photographs, graphic images, etc.).
