Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University (KhNAHU), which has the highest level of state accreditation, provides training for bachelors and masters in many prestigious specialties. The pride of the university is the Faculty of Road Construction, which was founded in 1930. One of the main specialties of the Faculty is Construction and Civil Engineering. The combination of good traditions with modern learning technologies makes it possible to train highly qualified specialists with ample perspectives for professional growth.

Along with traditional forms of studying, the Department provides training by the student’s individual plan and in the externship. Big attention is paid to the laboratory, practical and computer training. The Department has well-equipped specialized educational and scientific laboratories. There is also a computer center with a large number of applied programmes. To intensify and modernize studies the computer aided design system was created. Classes are taught by highly qualified teachers who have extensive experience in industrial and scientific work.

In total the department trains in more than 30 disciplines that are designed for students of various levels and specialties.
