The main direction of its pedagogical activity is the training of specialists-ecologists who are able to control changes in parameters of lithosphere, surface and ground waters, and atmosphere; who can reasonably monitor the objects under control; evaluate the quantitative parameters of pollution levels and predict changes in the quality of the environment, make recommendations related to changes in the intensity and nature of anthropogenic impacts on the environment.
