Кафедра ЮНЕСКО в цьому році відмічає свій 20-річний ювілей. 
КАФЕДРУ ЮНЕСКО «Екологічно чисті технології» (409) в Харківському національному автомобільно-дорожньому університеті (ХНАДУ) було засновано в 2000 році за рішенням Генерального Директора Організації відповідно до Меморандуму про співробітництво між Урядом України і ЮНЕСКО (1997). Як структурний підрозділ університету кафедра ЮНЕСКО «Екологічно чисті технології» (409) діє на підставі двостороннього Договору між ЮНЕСКО і ХНАДУ(2000; 2017 – поновлено), а також офіційно затвердженого Вченою Радою ХНАДУ «Положення про кафедру ЮНЕСКО в ХНАДУ» (2000).
20 років роботи з однією із найвпливовіших всесвітніх організацій , якою є ЮНЕСКО, для ХНАДУ були дуже важливими. Робота кафедри «Екологічно чисті технології» за програмою УНИТВИН / ЮНЕСКО, робота спільно з Національною Комісією в справах ЮНЕСКО в Україні, робота з дружніми кафедрами ЮНЕСКО в державі та за її межами - це все кроки міжнародної діяльності ХНАДУ в родині ЮНЕСКО. This year, the UNESCO Chair celebrates its 20th anniversary. UNESCO DEPARTMENT "Environmentally friendly technologies" (409) at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University (KhNADU) was established in 2000 by the decision of the Director General of the Organization in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and UNESCO (1997). As a structural unit of the University, the Department of UNESCO "Environmentally Friendly Technologies" (409) operates on the basis of a bilateral agreement between UNESCO and KhNADU (2000; 2017 - updated), as well as officially approved by the Academic Council of KhNADU "Regulations on the UNESCO Department in KhNADU" (2000).
20 years of work with one of the world's most influential organizations, UNESCO, was very important for KhNADU. The work of the Department of Environmentally Friendly Technologies under the UNITVIN / UNESCO program, work together with the National Commission for UNESCO in Ukraine, work with friendly UNESCO departments in the country and abroad are all steps of KhNADU's international activity in the UNESCO family. From now on the Web-GIS platform you can find KhNADU and the UNESCO Chair (409),as well as geographical information that can promote international cooperation, as well as strengthen North-South-South cooperation and cooperate under the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.
